Last Wednesday was a very hectic day for us; I had class and two meetings, plus we try to go to Church at 8 on Wednesday nights. I found myself standing in front of the fridge just staring into it blankly. "WHAT am I going to make for dinner?" Since we're still saving leftovers for our friend's with the new babies I was trying desperately to avoid eating those. Then I spotted an unopened bottle of my husband's favorite BBQ Sauce and the light bulb came on: maybe I can make shredded chicken in the crockpot!
Ingredients:
1 Bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce
2-3 Frozen chicken breasts
I simply cannot express my love for crockpot liners, especially when I'm going to leave a sauce in the crockpot for 8 hours or longer.
I know that this needs no explanation, but it really is just that simple! I added a little hot water to the bottle once it was mostly empty to get out all the sauce.
Cook on low for 8 hours. This is what it looked like when I got home.
One or two quick stirs with a large spoon and the chicken shredded itself!
I made tacos out of ours (mainly to utilize some Spanish Rice that needed to be eaten) but you could fix up the chicken any way you like!

I had no clue there was such a thing as crock pot liners! Those would encourage me to cook in my crock pot so much more. Thanks for sharing!
